Delete your CHERON account

For both Customers and Professionals — iOS and Android

You can permanently delete your CHERON account directly from the mobile app. This page explains how to do it, what data is removed, and what we are legally required to retain.

How to delete your account from the app

Customers and Professionals both use the same account deletion flow:

  1. Open the CHERON app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Tap the menu icon (top right of the home screen).
  3. Tap on Profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen.
  5. Tap Delete account (red button).
  6. Confirm the deletion.

Note for Professionals

Every Pro account also has a Customer profile attached. Deleting your account from the Customer profile menu will delete both profiles (Pro + Customer) permanently.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is removed from our systems within 30 days:

  • Profile information (name, email, phone number, photo)
  • Saved addresses
  • Communication history (chats with pros/clients)
  • Service request history
  • Payment methods stored in the app (Stripe payment method tokens)
  • Reviews and ratings written by you
  • Location data
  • Uploaded photos and documents
  • Push notification tokens

What data is retained

For legal, tax, and regulatory compliance, the following data is retained in anonymized form:

  • Transaction records (required for accounting — retained 10 years under French commercial law / 7 years under US IRS rules)
  • Tax invoices
  • Fraud prevention and dispute resolution data (retained 3 years)
  • Anonymized analytics (non-identifying)

Reviews you received as a professional may remain visible on the platform in anonymized form to preserve the integrity of the rating system for other users.
